We live in a time, where many heartbreaking incidents are overwhelming our lives. The news and media is infiltrated with hate talk, war, diseases, human right issues, injustices, and natural disasters. Never has there been a time or era where it was so increasingly commonplace to hear events like these on a daily basis. In such a time like this, it is all the more important as artists to breath the ‘audacity to hope’ back into the culture. Our mission is to consistently create stories that awakens the beauty that still is found amidst all that is taking place. Thus we envision seeing a world where hope overpowers hopelessness.

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

SEPTEMBER 23RD 2014

In 2014, a group of artists felt the urgency to respond to many of the crises that keeps increasing in our world today. Hence Alya Production Coalition was found, uniting artists to create with a cause. Using our gifts and talents, our mission is to produce stories that bring hope, especially in the most broken parts of the world. “After the Rain” is our pilot project, which focuses on the beauty of family love in response to the issue of “Bride Kidnapping.” As a coalition of artists who believe in this message, we are embarking on a journey to make this story of hope come alive.

Whether it is narrative film, documentary, books, or art pieces, our mission is to create any form of "stories" that emanate hope. If there is a story birthed with passion or a call for a message, we will be there to partake in it and have it be told. Wherever the story is originated, we contextualize it to that culture then co-produce with local creatives and leadership. We actively partner with local organizations that represent the specific cause of the production and ignite movements to continually speak the message. Everything we make will be birthed from the people, made with the people, and used for the people.
